!!!DRAMA IN THE SPORTS WORLD ALERT!!!
Yesterday old man Leonard Fournette posted a tweet that left many people scratching their heads wondering who it was about.
Just kidding everyone knew in a heartbeat it was about Blake fucking Bortles. Now we know the fairytale story story of that year for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Everyone knew they had a stellar defense, but with offensive woes they did not expect to end the season 12-7, nonetheless lead by 10 points in the fourth quarter to the MOTHERFUCKING Patriots led by one of the best, yet overrated (another blog for another time), quarterbacks in Tom Brady. But is it fair to put all the blame on Bortles? I mean how much can one man take in the last year? From being a starting quarterback, to being benched by Big Dick Nick Foles (an honor really), to being released by the franchise that drafted you, to being bullied for a performance that happened over 3 years ago to a SuperBowl they probably would have lost anyway.
Let’s dive into the stats:
Blake Bortles in the biggest game of his life had 293 Yards, 1 TD, and a 98.5 rating. I mean what more can we expect from a QB like Blake? To me that is a really good game for his history. I mean his career stats averages are worse than Baker Mayfield’s and we know that he has stunk out load for two years in a row, but for him to have a game like this by a great defense, I mean c’mon now! Give credit where credit is due fellas!!! This guy had a career game (to his standards) and we should pat him on the back. Instead of Fournette attacking the guy that handed him the ball, he should attack himself for barely rushing 3 yards/carry, and that bummy defense for allowing 14 points in a quarter. Now I get that you should need more than 20 points a game to win, but allowing two touchdowns a quarter? Now that is something that can’t happen in your biggest game of your life for that defense. Now don’t think Blake is off the hook. He had 2 possessions to drain the clock, or even score. He even had the last possession with over two and a half minutes! So we can just agree that the entire fourth quarter was complete dogshit for the entire team. Makes sense for a trash franchise that has had problems for the past couple years. Thoughts and prayers are sent to you Jags fans.
Though we can’t blame the entire game on one man, it is just so easy and second nature to blame Blake Bortles for anything bad to happen in Jacksonville. We simply cannot lay off him. We can only hope that Big Dick… wait they got rid of him too. Well their defense with Fow… damn it. WHAT THE FUCK IS JACKSONVILLE DOING? Oh well, let’s just say Blake Bortles runs the team and call it a day shall we?
